Miller-Acid is an organic acid mixture with antimicrobial activity for animal feed. Organic acids have been used successfully in intensive animal production for a long time. They are widely present in nature as normal constituents of plants or animal tissues and they are formed mainly in the large intestine. They can also be found in the form of their salts. From the use of organic acids in animal feeds an improvement in feeding efficiency and production can be expected as a result of better preservation and protection against the effects of moulds and bacteria. The acidifying properties of Miller-Acid provide antibacterial and anti-fungal activity, ensuring maximum efficacy as a raw material preservative and in the control of unwanted, potentially pathogenic, bacteria within the animal.
